SPC Control Limits Review Frequency

Our SPC Procedure tells us that our SPC process in the production line, that under normal condition control limits shall be reviewed every quarter. But lately, we won't be able to review the control limits since there were no serious problem that we encountered. Quarterly review is too tight so we decided to chage it as deemed necessary.
Is there any comments from the forum with regards in reviewing Control Limits of SPC???

When to recalculate?

Raffy,
If you monitor the process regularly, you will be able to decide when to reaclculate control limits - instead of reviewing them on a fixed quarterly period.
