Hey all,
In my organization, we supply a PMA certified product needed to use our service.
1. We did not design the product but do own the rights to the design.
2. We do not manufacture anything in any capacity. We have a PMA manufacturer that builds and certifies this product for us.
3. The PMA manufacture received their PMA from the STC holder (also not us)
How do we apply the requirements for:
1. Delegation of verification activities
2. Verification of external test reports
We cannot actually test the product as that would invalidate the PMA. It does come with a C of C and an FAA form 8130-3 Airworthiness Release from the PMA manufacturer. They also retain ALL manufacturing records IAW FAA requirements.
