As some of you know, I read Ars Technica quite a lot. I thought this was interesting and since it's a Sunday thought you might be interested in a quick read. I had never heard of this before.

That's awesome! I never heard of the atmospheric railway before. The current version with the magnetic coupling actually sounds likely to be feasible.
