Hi all, I am reading this forum for quite some time and really appreciate the help lighting up the question from many experts here.
Now I am helping my friend who owns security company (sending a security guard to oversee customer site).
Now as I mostly work with product type organization and I am in doubt on some issue when coming to a service type organization which I help you guys can help me.
The questions that I have as follows;
1. They have a little store which keeps only a few items such as uniform and other related tools (not more than 12 types of item) and the stock is not more than 10-20 pieces per item.
I do not think that we need to do the full stock control but just need to ensure that they have enough resources when needed.
The plan is just to have the purchasing personnel do the weekly or bi-weekly visual stock count (no inventory card).
They never have an issue with the stock shortage before and they can get thing within 2 days.
Do you think that this is enough to serve the clause 7.1?
2. In Thailand, most of the Quality Manual that I've seen is the copy of requirement and paste into QM format. I would like to just to the lean QM which include the following;
2.1 Context of organization (company detail, company location, map, vision, mission)
2.2 Business flow chart
2.3 Organization chart
2.4 Scope of quality management system
2.5 Quality policy
2.6 Quality objective (KPI)
2.7 Statement of leadership commitment
2.8 Exception
2.9 Need and Expectation of IP (Table)
2.10 SWOT
2.11 Internal audit and MRW plan
All of this should not be more than 10 pages.
Do you guys think it should be ok for CB?
Thanks for the answers in advance.
