Yes you are right .. I asked ANAB whether they represent NAB of USA .. and they did not .. but then who represents NAB in USA?

Why does ISO allow more than one single "official" representation from a "member" country?

Hi, I must be missing something. The author of the post complaining about the shabby practices of AIAO-BAR is none other than the chairman of that organization, a Leo Shabalin? My head is spinning.

Yes you did miss .. the difference between "AIAO" and "AIAO-BAR" ..

I have been following this outfit over the years. Now they share the same address as a brewery in Los Gatos CA. (The brewery was getting good Google reviews as of 2 months ago). Where I had seen their "accredited" (no evidence of IAF etc. was found on AIAO-Bar's web site today) calibration labs were located in Pakistan, I just ran across a calibration certificate from a place in Rhode Island bearing the AIAO-Bar mark.

So, they are here now too. Buyer beware.

Same address as a brewery? Now I wonder what the "Bar" in AIAO-Bar stands for......
To be clear, the brewery shows up in a Google search. When looking on their web site the address leads one to a quaint little Cape Cod area Post Office (PO Box). The CB's web site leads one on a 3 minute drive away (1.4 miles) to a tree filled lot across from a nice looking residence on a quiet street. The CB's West Coast office address is still a space in a nice looking Montecito strip mall.
