Problem Solving: JDI (just do it) vs. A3 vs PDCA Projects

I would like to have some feedback on your experience addressing problems. I am trying to cultivate a thought process on issues that arise that can addressed immediately vs. issues that require a longer term problem solving process. To me, A3 encompasses PDCA. However, there are some who think otherwise.
