Procedure for Maintaining Industry Standards and Identifying Revisions

I have been tasked with creating a procedure for the maintenance of industry standards. (!) :mg: I was hoping there may exist an existing template on this site as a benchmark (since obviously various firms handle this process differently) particularly for definitions and possibly websites/references. Much obliged!!

You will need to assess as to how you can suitably maintain documents or standards in your organization. One way of doing this is as follows:

There may / may not be a standard procedure by the issuing body for updation / revision of documents. In the absence, you may schedule a time frame to check if the standard has been updated / revised, otherwise check for revisions as scheduled by the issuing body.
