New to the forum. Can anyone tell me which industry/business leads in requests for ISO 9001 certification?

ISO 9001 was started as a manufacturing based specification, and it remains primarily so although other industries (e.g. distribution, design, services in sectors both inside and outside of manufactured goods). That said, its principles can and have been applied to unlikely industries such as education.
