Thanks Peter,

Main changes are about the use of a kind of checklist for so-called "key items" of ISO TS16949, and a strong focus on proper management of NCs.

Hope it helps making TS certificates more reliable :notme:

what about this point ? "c) In case of non conformity raised during an ISO TS 16949 audit, the supplier and the certification body shall manage ISO TS non
conformities in a robust way."
.
Our auditor ask for a 5why for each NC... does someone have such kind of document ?

The auditor can not demand a particular methodology. You must have a defined process for problem solving, but which process is entirely up to you. As long as the process is effective, meaning no recurrences of nonconformities, you should be OK.

However, a customer may require that you use their process.

Renault request specific tools as a minimum, if I remember correctly (it is described in their CSR).

Of course, any methodology should do, but in practice, any metholodology means none.

regarding what is "5 whys", it means asking yourself 5 times why the problem occured, each time going deeper into causes.
You can google it , or even youtube it.
