Balanced scorecard together with ISO 9001

HI everybody

I?m in charge of managing an ISO 9001:2008 System.

In my experience (3) years, it seems that in the long run this become somewhat tediuos, because same activities are followed, To make CA, contol of documents, Kpi?s, management reviews, audits, and so on....
focusing on goals and strategy under ISO.

Some days ago I found an article about Balanced Scorecard, this info refers that this methodology considers other additional aspects of a bussines that are not cnsidered in the same way in ISO.

The question is:
Have you implemented in ISO 9001:2008 the BS methodology?

How well it fits in ISO, is it recommended ?

Thanks for your feedback

ISO 9001:2008 doesn't tell you how to plan, implement and monitor your system.

it simply requires that you DO, Check and Act. its an essential for any business.

Balance Scorecard can be simply used as a tool to fulfill the requirement of ISO 9001. its one of the tools and there is many others.

the trick is to have integration in the system.

I've seen many organisation who have separate systems for Performance Management, Quality System, Risk Management ...etc and they end up doing things for the sake of documentation.

It is often forgotten that the system is designed for business improvement, when its stop doing that then its need to look back at it
