Thanks! I've learned alot of valuable information here and finally decided to join.
I've been told that a FAA Certification Plan is a document that tells the FAA how an applicant intends to demonstrate complaince of the design to the applicable FARs.
I haven't written one of these before. So, I guess I was wondering if there is a preferred format. My plan was to just list all applicable FARs and include a description of how each one is satisified. But, the project has a short fuse and I want to get it right the first time.

Much depends on the type of product you are wanting to "certify", what certification you are seeking, and which ACO you are dealing with.
