Boing, Boing, Boing. Here we go again, down the only road…

btw, great thread...this "ain't Boing", but Swiss Air operating an Airbus 333, but a known defect, where Airbus issued a Service Bulletin in 2016, was apparently ignored by the carrier. Classified as an Incident v Accident
Incident v Accident? Yeah, I was in similar situations, especially when I was crewing helicopters that were titled "Hard landing" and not Class "X type" Accident/Crash. "X type" could be A-B-C-D.

Randy, here is one Accident investigation that is at best odd...by any rational measure the government of India "appears to be" conducting an obfuscation program re: Air India - Boeing 788 flight.

There's some stuff I picked up, one thing that jumped out at me anyway was flight hours, 8200 for the Captain and 1100 for the FO? I've over half of the total between them in broken helicopters during test flights alone. Its seems low, US commercial airline pilots will have 20,000–35,000+ hours at retirement.

Also, I didn't see a peep about maintenance other than when it was done. A ^hitpot full of problems can come out of maintenance if they're using some shade tree jacklegs under the "observation" of a qualified person.......That's scary! I've been an FAA licensed A&P Mechanic since before the Gulf War, a "qualified aircraft" mechanic long before that, and I wouldn't twist a wrench on a bird for your paycheck. My skills have deteriorated over time (be 75 next time around) and there are 10,000 subtle things I could inadvertently do that would kill you in a heartbeat....And many could look like an OEM defect to boot.

There's a few holes yet on the "plot" presented.

Anxious to graduate, I was a couple courses short of those required for A&P license, FAA Regs and I believe Props? at that time. But a side, the above accident has some scary similarities to MH370, the triple seven that mysteriously went away off course.
You may remember that, ACARS and the Transponder were mysteriously disabled… the Malaysian government recently approved money, a “no fiind, no pay” contract to firm out of Texas (INFINITY OCEANS??) to conduct underwater exploration to find the missing aircraft in the southern Indian Ocean. I believe the search is underway as we speak.

There's a ton to that story that hasn't been said yet.
