Hi All,
I am in charge of a standardisation project involving 3 legally distinct, IATF 16949 certified businesses that are part of the same organization but have different names and logos, same industry and same manufacturing processes.
Our goal is to maintain complete compliance with IATF requirements while operating a single common management system (processes, procedures, core tools, KPIs, etc.) throughout the organisation. Our goal is to maintain complete compliance with IATF requirements while operating a single common management system (processes, procedures, core tools, KPIs, etc.) throughout the organisation.
I have a query regarding document branding:
In order to maintain clear legal accountability and prevent audit confusion, we want to avoid needless duplication that might affect document control and consistency.
I would appreciate any experience with audit feedback or CB expectations.
Best regards,
Mourad

I have a query regarding document branding:
- Is it appropriate to have a single group-level management system with standard operating procedures and forms, a neutral or group header, and clearly defined site applicability and responsibilities?
- Or is it preferable (or what some CBs expect) to duplicate the same documents just to add legal entity names and site-specific logos?
