TS 16949:2009 Internal Auditor Programme

Dear All,

i just have planned to attend internal auditor programme in TS 16949:2009

But they offer me the 3rd edition of TS 16949:2009

So, before attending the programme i just have few questions,

1. Is the 3rd edition is the latest edition for TS 16949:2009 internal auditor
2. few documents like PPAP & FMEA are getting revised (eg FMEA is in 4th edition, how do I get notified of these editions? Is there a way to be notified?

Can somebody help me out pls.

Hi Selva,

Welcome to the Cove.

I check the revision level of TS16949 at the IATF site.

As far as PPAP, FMEA, MSA, etc. I go to AIAG's site to check or order the publications.

I have never looked for auto notification so maybe someone else can help direct you there. They don't change that often so I have found that manually checking once a year or so has worked out well. Besides, there is usually enough notice if there is a change forthcoming that you will most likely learn of it beforehand, especially if you continue to visit the Cove.

So, to answer your question of current revision level of TS16949, the third edition is the current level.
