That put's a wrinkle in the plans. I was hoping we could start mostly from scratch with a clen slate. 90+% of it was just not doing the stuff they knew they had to do. Ultimately Management failed to motivate the various players to do what was needed. I suspect there were some resource issues mixed in. This was especially true of the IATF specific things since their 95% customer didn't require them, their 5% customer did/does. We have gotten some new Top Management in the last year (Those who hired me) so its looking like our CM was to replace managers? This is gonna be tough.
This is the root cause - lack of engagement from leadership. The corrective action could be daily meetings with leadership to address the top 3 production issues, kpi. These meetings could be 15 min or less. Leadership needs to improve...support the qms.

Thank You for your input. The better news is that it seems that it was previous leadership that was the cause. Current leadership (including me?) seems better. Although its been uphill getting much momentum. And we have done well keeping up with daily issues. We have a standup every morning and go through the 'right now' KPI's daily. Its the other stuff that suffers. Any kind of audit, CAR beyond customer rejects, non-daily KPI as well as lots of IATF 'extras' spare parts inventory, Core Document upkeep, etc. The Plant Manager tried to call a Mgmt Review meeting to at least get a benchmark but its been a couple months and we can't seem to pull that together. I even volunteered to help pull together KPI data. I don't give up easy so I'll keep truckin' as long as they'll let me. Next order of business is to get a new Registrar going.

Seems to me your system is too complicated for your organization. For example, if you have a standup every morning, why is a separate Mgmt Review meeting necessary? Can that be incorporated into the regular meetings? The less herding of cats you do, the better. Strip it down and simplify as much as possible.
